Anthony Tyler

(as Detective Tony Cortez) makes his debut as actor and director in Eyes Reversed, a film which he writes and produces. Anthony brings his visionary intensity to reality like a seasoned pro, although he has had no formal training in filmmaking. When it came time to do Eyes Reversed, the aim was to create what they call ‘A People’s Movie’. They were adamant about making the kind of film that people from the ages of 8 to 80 could enjoy, and judging from the national attention this production has garnered, the mission was a success.

John C. Reid, Jr.

(as Detective Nate Owens) also makes his acting debut in this feature, in which he shares writing and production credits with Tyler. This native Washingtonian’s first love is music but views acting as a more visual experience. As evidenced by their performance in the film, you can tell that these two aren’t limited to one movie genre. Eyes Reversed could be labeled as comedy, drama, or suspense thriller because each form is well represented with the accuracy of a custom tailor. These young men's future plans definitely have acting and a host of other things written all over them, an opportunity afforded by the resounding success of this film.
